We wanted to give another update and say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. We’re now nearly at £2,000 raised, which is incredible — your generosity is helping Macmillan provide vital care, and for reference, £2,000 is enough to fund 80 hours of nursing care. With 98% of Macmillan’s income coming from donations, every single contribution really does make a huge difference.

If you’ve donated, you’re more than welcome to come down on the night — even if you don’t throw a dart, your support is hugely appreciated! The bar will be open from 6pm until midnight, and there will also be a raffle with a wide selection of prizes, all donated, with proceeds added to the fundraising total. Donations are still very welcome, and please feel free to share this with anyone else who might like to get involved.

We started this challenge with a £250 target, and knowing how far we’ve come already makes us so motivated to keep going. Every dart, every donation, and every message of support is helping us honor our beautiful grandma while supporting families through Macmillan’s incredible work.

We wanted to share another update and say thank you once again to everyone who has supported us. We are incredibly grateful to say we’re now nearly at £1,500 raised, which honestly means more to us than words can describe.

Sadly, since our last update, our beautiful grandma has sadly lost her battle with cancer and was taken from us far too soon. Although she won’t be here to see us play, our grandad has reminded us how important it is that we keep going and make her proud. This challenge now means even more to us, as we were constantly updating her on every donation we received, and she was so touched by the support shown.

We’ll be carrying her with us throughout the darts marathon, and every dart thrown will be for her. Thank you all for helping us honour her and for supporting Macmillan and families like ours.
