On 11 May, a group of young people from Horizon Community College will be taking part in the Macmillan Cancer Support Darts Marathon.
All participants regularly attend the after-school darts club at Horizon CC, where they have developed not only their skills, but also strong relationships, confidence, and a real sense of teamwork. We wanted to take that a step further by setting ourselves a meaningful challenge that pushes us as a team, while also raising vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This marathon will be the ultimate test of teamwork, resilience, and determination, bringing the group together around a shared goal that goes beyond the darts board. By taking part, the young people are giving back to the community and supporting a charity that makes a real difference to individuals and families affected by cancer.
