Frew’s Bar and Campbell’s Bar have joined forces for one day only to create a team of wildly inaccurate but deeply enthusiastic dart throwers, aiming to raise some cash for Macmillan Cancer Support.

There are four of us on the team: Craig, Paul, Liam, and Arran — bound together by family, friendship, and a mutual inability to hit what we’re aiming at.

We’re taking part in the Macmillan Cancer Dartathon because, like so many people, we’ve all been affected by cancer in one way or another. Whether it’s close family, good friends, or personal experience — cancer has touched our lives, and Macmillan has been there through it all.

One of our team, Craig was diagnosed with testicular cancer almost 10 years ago and is now cancer-free — just one of many reasons we’re throwing (badly) for a great cause.

We might not trouble the scoreboard much, but every throw, every laugh, and every missed double is about raising money to support the amazing work Macmillan does for people facing cancer.

Thanks for backing us — even if we can’t hit the bullseye, we’re aiming for something that matters.
