Woodcroft Primary School

Woodcroft Primary School staff are taking on the Macmillan Darts Marathon Challenge in memory of Nelson. On the 8th May 2026 we will play continuously until a score of 100,000 points has been achieved.

Nelson was our colleague and friend, and part of the Woodcroft family, for over 20 years. He was always the first to offer help and put others before himself. Nelson also loved his sport, and showed a keen interest in our staffroom darts competitions.

Not everybody is fortunate to have such a close family and supportive community around them, so we want to raise money in this way for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Macmillan understand how cancer can affect people’s whole lives – they also understand how it can affect men. Your fundraising will help nurses and Macmillan do whatever it takes to help everyone with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are.

Nelson now lives on in our memories. Your kindness and generosity will help the Woodcroft staff show their support, and raise money to join the fight against cancer.
