It's very simple that cancer affects for too many of us - either directly or through friends and family.

I have lost too many people in too short a time to ignore the fact that more research is needed and more action is needed to ensure early detection and hopefully more successful treatments.

Unfortunately, there will be many cases that are terminal and that is where the support and care comes in. This is equally important and imperative to the cancer fighters and their families.
