Why I’m Taking Part
I will be playing darts for 12 hours in memory of my grandad, Jim Greatrex, who passed away in 2023 after a long battle with cancer. He was a darts player himself, known for occasionally playing with large stainless steel nails, which earned him the nickname Jimmy Nails.

My dad passed away in Jan 2024 to cancer after fighting for just over 3 years. Macmillan tried their hardest to help, but where very hard on funds at the time, so when we did get help, they were a great relief to myself and my mum (I was a full time carer for him to help out). So I would like to donate this in my dads name, David Legg, who always praised them and was very thankful.

Firstly - thank you everyone that donated. Not only did we reach the £150 target, but we smashed it and raised a total of £350! 🥳
Also, thank you to those who turned up, had a chat, shared stories of Grandad, played a game, and cheered me on. I am truly grateful. You are all amazing.
My arm might never recover (was already having physio - oops) but it was worth it.
