Cancer.
Everyone will have a story about cancer at some point in their life.
This is mine.
My mum has struggled with poor health, and then she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Because of her health, she wasn’t able to undergo surgery. She had chemotherapy, but it could never offer a cure. When the cancer spread to her brain, she was given six months to live. That was ten months ago. She underwent radiotherapy and keeps fighting.
The impact of cancer hasn’t just been physical - it’s affected me mentally, and it’s affected my whole family. I’ve lost others to cancer too.
That’s why I’m taking on a 12-hour Macmillan Darts Marathon to raise money for Macmillan, who do incredible work supporting people affected by cancer.
On Saturday 26th July, from 8am until 8pm, I’ll be playing darts inside my home bar.
If you can spare the cost of a pint - whether it’s Carling, BrewDog, Azvex, or whatever your favourite - it will make a real difference. Every donation helps Macmillan be there for people who need them most.
Thank you!
