I am doing this challenge solo to support the cause as I owe so much to them.
I lost my grandfather to this horrid disease when I was a young man.
My wife and I were supported a few years ago when my wife was diagnosed with a cancer on one of her Kidneys. Their support was world class throughout the diagnosis process, the immediate support on being the tumour was a cancer and the post operative time. I thank God she is all clear now.
Finally, they have been fantastic with my Father-in-law at a MacMillan centre with his blood transfusions and support they gave to me when I informed them that he had been taken to the Palliative care Unit.
I pray that you can find the kindness to donate to this essential service so that they can continue and improve the care they selflessly offer.
