Why I’m Taking Part
Many people are affected by cancer. In the UK alone more than 3 million people are living with cancer and around 393,000 new cases are diagnosed each year.
At West Bradford Golf Club we have had many members who have been diagnosed, treated, or affected by cancer whether it be themselves, family members or friends.
We are holding a MacMillan Cancer fundraiser on Saturday January 25th This will take the form of a darts marathon where three teams will attempt to play for twelve hours non-stop or aim to reach 100,000 points whichever comes first.
The team is headed by former President Nicky Clay, Richard Gunn, Martin Duerden, Richard Hardy, Tony Hopps, Chris Taylor, Richard King, Mark Ryan and Eliot Ryan.
