I bring the sad news that on the morning of Friday 11th July, my Mum passed away peacefully after a 3 year battle with cancer. I reached out to Macmillian the day before because I was struggling and needed some help. I spent an hour on the phone and it helped massively. Nothing can prepare you for losing a loved one, especially a parent but I can’t thank Macmillian enough because I really needed that phone call. You are never alone, help is always there when you need it, no matter the cause. If it’s cancer related then I can personally vouch for Macmillian, if you need support for something else, there’s always another charity or means of support out there for everyone. 💚
